Who is She?

L.C. Henderson is a North Carolina native with a suitcase always half-packed and a heart that lives wherever stories take root. Her work blends tender realism with surreal touches, often exploring queer heartache, hope, and identity through a DIY-meets-dreamworld lens.

Her directorial debut, THE FOUR DANIELS, has screened across the U.S. and abroad, picking up a few shiny awards along the way including Best Comedy Short at Longleaf Film Festival 2024 and Audience Choice at Cinequeer Film Night. In 2023, she directed I REALLY WISH MERCURY WASN’T IN RETROGRADE RIGHT NOW!, which now lives inside Meow Wolf Grapevine’s The Real Unreal, probably confusing and delighting someone as we speak. She also directs branded content that floats around the internet, mixing her voice with the algorithms that deliver viral videos directly to you.

L.C. currently serves as Creative Director at Hidden Gem, a company dedicated to unearthing bold, authentic storytelling. She is also a member of the Alliance of Women Directors. As an editor, she cuts marketing content for Netflix titles through bmp creative, with her work featured on Entertainment Tonight, The Hollywood Reporter, and whatever autoplay ad just interrupted your TikTok scroll. When she’s not filming, editing, or summoning a story from the void, she’s probably making collages, chipping away at her first feature film, or scribbling strange little poems into her Notes app and calling it art.

Let’s make something together <3
