Tethered

Every once in a blue moon, you read a script that pulls you in and reminds your inner child it’s safe to come out and play. Tethered had that magic. With its whimsical charm and its quietly powerful parable about what it means to be an artist, I was hooked from the very first draft.

I was so honored when my producing partner Ilayda Yigit invited me onto the project. How could I possibly say no to a story filled with music, adventure, and , of course, hot air balloons? It was a joy to help bring director Beth Fletcher’s vision to life and build a world that felt both fantastical and deeply human.

The most beautiful part of working on Tethered was learning, along with the characters, how contagious hope can be. That even when everything else is stripped away, your passions will still be there to lift you up. It’s a gentle, glowing reminder to follow your dreams. even when they feel silly, even when you’re scared, and to do it with ferocity.
